great potential but needs improvements

The vintage aesthetic really stands out and adds character to the place. The mountain view from my room was quite nice and refreshing. Dog-friendly environment makes it easy to travel with pets, which I appreciated.

There were issues with cleanliness that they need to address.

Clean & a good value.

Listing & web-site indicate continental breakfast, which is not correct. Seems as if this could be easily updated. Owner said something about a contract is still in effect, so the listing has not been corrected. I didn't understand & didn't feel the explanation made sense. Just correct the false information!

The hotel was in a good and perfect location short walk to Sonora for the night and sightseeing and coy pond and waterfall. A double room was cheap.

I woudl ve been totally willing to give this place a good review, until I noticed the blood on the toilet and the sticky shower! How charming. And not a single complimentary gesture was offered, despite the appalling conditions. They must think all guests deserve the same standard of filth! Delaware would definitely not recommend this 'motel'.

Staff/Family were very friendly and nice. Our room was exceptionally clean, and we felt very comfortable being there for the evening. This Motel is a diamond in the rough and you should stop if you are traveling and going by Sonora. Holiday Host Motel is sure a very nice place.

My only complaint about the room is that the towels were very very thin glad it was only myself needed both bath towels to dry self and hair Didn't expect high end towels but a little better than what was furnished

This place is a proper fit for short visits in Sonora with real value for money. The clerk offered a good deal when I needed sleep, helpful. Bring your own snacks because the breakfast options are not great.

it was a older hotel needs a few updates an small repairs shower sprayed everywhere an a few spiders the beds were pretty hard an wobbly but clean.

Nothing negative to say, exceeded my expectations for a motel in a small West Texas town.

The staff were friendly and provided helpful local tips for exploration.

I was taken aback by the uncleanliness of the bathroom. Bloodstains on the toilet and an unsettling feeling kept me on edge all night. Unfortunately, I couldn't bring myself to use the shower due to the sticky residue.

The price, it was a good value. It was very clean.

The room was lime green, everything was shades of green. The furniture was old like the stuff you get a garage sales or thrift stores. And the place advertised breakfast, when we inquired she offered us cereal, really?

All fine, but cleanliness issues

The hotel was an excellent base for enjoying a fairly quiet area, next to sightseeing as well as Sonora for the night. Cheap and spotlessly clean room with central heating, TV set and a microwave oven, appreciated it. The location was absolutely perfect - just walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go.

The staff was a bit lazy.
